| Jeanette Nyden is the author of Negotiation Rules! A Practical Approach to Big Deal Negotiations. And, as founder and president of J.
Nyden & Co., Jeanette offers customized training programs and seminars
which emphasize practical and relevant negotiation skills. In her role
as a corporate trainer or negotiation coach, she works with companies that
face one of two challenges. Some of her clients have complex
vendor/supplier agreements (think Sole Supplier Agreements) with very
large companies, like Boeing or Texas Instruments. Other clients have
long term partnership type relationships with customers, such as
alliances.
As a mediator, Jeanette facilitates the
negotiation process at meetings between partners who have differing
strategies for the company, or potentially contentious meetings between
a client company and a vendor.
Jeanette is also a Seattle business
attorney in solo practice, hence the law firm J. Nyden Law and
Mediation PS. In her role as an attorney, she helps small companies
negotiate a variety of deals from asset sales to alliance agreements. She
also turns those negotiations into effective business contracts.
