Director, Enterprise Solution Sales Job

Long Description
The Director of Enterprise Solution Sales is responsible for creating new relationships and expanding existing relationships with large, multi-location national account customers. The Director of Enterprise Solution Sales represents the entire range of Acuity Brand Lighting products and is responsible for achieving sales quota as well as helping to promote Acuity's Atrius platform of software services.
This position will report to the Vice President of Enterprise Solution Sales.
  • Develop strong business relationships with key executive level influences from assigned customer base, prospective customers, and channel partners.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal customers to ensure effective communications and performance to plan.
  • Develop strategic business plans which will drive revenue and achieve specific account objectives.
  • Must have very strong national account and project management skills.
  • Must be able to deliver persuasive presentations to customers and lighting specifiers with the goal to get Acuity Brands product specified and purchased.
  • Must be highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Drive on time delivery of RFDs, RFWDs, PDS deliverables as defined by the business and customer need. Work with the deployment teams to help ensure operational commitments to customers are met or exceeded.
  • Provide market related insights to Acuity's senior leadership as to current business trends and potential opportunities for new growth
  • Work with senior sales leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement.Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience

Job Responsibilities
  • Team Management - Management of sales team, implement Strategy Deployment Goals
  • Product Portfolio � Responsible for product category management. Determine and implement strategies w/ key Vertical markets
  • New business growth � responsible for developing strategy to expand category and line card w/ existing customers and devising plans to onboard new customers
  • Budget Management - Compliance to annual requirements in sales and expense management of personal and regional budgets. Creating a maximum return on investment of corporate assets.
  • Problem Resolution - Minimize conflict between customer expectations and ABL capabilities. Handle escalation of conflict mitigation with other sales channels.
  • Maintain a consistent product training schedule for the sales team on new products introduced, focusing on new technology and full solution sale.
