The Role
This position will build and maintain strong business relationships with key sales clients to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas, targets or objectives for his/her Business Insurance Specialty Markets area(s) of responsibility. S/he will build, maintain and execute sales and marketing plans & offer insurance solutions within the Business Insurance market which results in an increase in sales revenue, market share, and new opportunities

  • Conducts site visits to assigned firms/institutions to achieve sales targets.
  • Coordinates sales activities and case management responsibilities with LFD Internal and External wholesalers.
  • Cultivates, manages, and maintains firm/institution client relationships within the Business Insurance Market.
  • Develops and executes plans to select appropriate key partners to promote Lincoln's products/services and optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Develops and executes sales and marketing plans to increase sales revenue and market share within the Business Insurance marketplace.
  • Develops and maintains productive relationships with LFD wholesalers, customers, and partners to significantly grow sales and market share for the defined Business Insurance solutions.
  • Identifies and communicates any potential conflicts regarding Lincoln's products/services.
  • Increases awareness of Lincoln's Business Insurance solutions with firms and/or institutions within the Business Insurance marketplace.
  • Maintains daily activity in appropriate systems such as the LFD SalesForce.
  • Meets or exceeds all department and/or sales goals/targets for his/her assigned goal in the Business Insurance Specialty Market.
  • Proactively consults and advises with key stakeholders to provide value-added Business Insurance strategies and solutions.
  • Proactively seeks and supports the development of new initiatives to enhance Lincolns success and market presence in the Business Insurance Market.
  • Possess and continues to develop strong acumen in insurance solutions across the Executive Benefit Planning spectrum.
  • Provides presentations, information, education, training, and advice on products and services to customers and other key stakeholders.

  • Undergraduate degree or 4 years of comparable work experience required
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 required
  • Life, Health License in all states within assigned region required
  • Preferred Advanced Designation Certifications (CLU, CFP, ChFC)
  • 5 of experience years in financial services in wholesale, retail sales or advance sales positions that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
  • Must have excellent knowledge of the Business Insurance marketplace and the appropriate concepts and solutions
  • Proficiency in Financial Services Sales, Wholesaling, Relationship Management and advance business insurance concept & design
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
  • Possesses a bias for action and avoids workplace distractions
  • Drives performance targets to completion

  • Travel Amount : 50%-60%
